    When not in use in tub, i have it hanging so he can shoot hoops outside of the tub. He really enjoys it.

    Fun activity for bath time
    This is a great bath-time activity for any child in the bath. It is hard enough trying to convince the kids that we need to take a bath this toy makes bath time enjoyable. My son really loved this and it was great for bonding time. We are always coming up with different games like how many balls can he make in the basket. Great way to have fun during bath time!

    Great bath toy for bath-time. It is competition for my kids and they like to see who can make the most hoops. Which makes bath time that much easier for me! = )

    Good toy - somewhat misleading description
    While the 1-year-old enjoys the toy, the description stating "your 1-year-old will enjoy shooting the balls in the hoop" is probably misleading for most kids. I don't know any kids that age with teh motor skills to "shoot" a ball. His 2 1/2 year old sister enjoys it too and can more sucessfully shoot the balls in the net. Nevertheless, he does enjoy it and it is well-made toy that is a good value.

    Tub time is a great time to connect with your little one. Since you are both sitting there anyway, you can use the time for some fun and learning.

    Attach the basketball net to the side of your tub. Teach your child how to place the balls into the net and cheer when he/she makes a basket. This offers positive reinforcement.

    If your child gets frustrated by the hoop, he/she can focus on playing with the balls themselves, which squirt water when they are filled up.

  •  

    Have your child move further away from the hoop as he/she gets better at shooting the balls.  Basketball is a great way to develop the hand-eye coordination and upper arm strength of your child.

  •  

    At the end of the bath, you can teach your toddler how to pick up after himself/herself by putting the balls away in the net and cinching the top.
