    I bought this easel for my classroom in the daycare I work at. I really liked it because this is something I could put on the table and the kids could sit in a chair and paint. It also liked the paint holders on the easel so there was no chance of any of my kids spilling any of the paint all over the ground. It comes with a roll of paper, paint, brushes and a tray which is really nice!

    My grandaughter (2) loves her easel. She really loves to paint and can sit at the kitchen table with her art smock on and be very creative. The set does not come with paints, but the easy grip paint brushes are perfect for little hands! Would highly recommend. The chalk board on the other side is nice too along with the big chalk holders that come with the set.

  • Easels are a great way for children to begin to draw before they are able to better control their artistic motions while sitting at a desk. This Little Hands Tabletop Easel is a great space saver, while still offering your child all the benefits of an easel.
  • Your child will begin with a few simple shapes, squiggles, then vertical lines. An easel is a great way to bond with your little one. Try adding leaves to his/her straight vertical line to make a tree.
  • Next your child will move on to drawing horizontal lines and circles. Expand on this new skill by drawing a sun together.
  • He/she may also have a favorite color. You'll find it is tough for your child to switch to a different color once he/she sees the impact of the one he/she is currently using.
  • Soon your little Picasso will learn to copy or trace shapes (use a paper cup or cookie cutters for him/her to trace around). He'll/she'll also graduate to a variety of colors. You can draw a rainbow to show your child what different colors look like next to each other.
  • In no time your child will begin to use simple shapes to draw recognizable pictures with this toddler toy. Don't label the pictures for him/her. Instead ask your little one to tell you what he/she drew. You may be surprised at the answer you get.
  • Your child can collaborate with you or a friend to create one picture. Each child can use a different color or create consecutive lines. Now that's teamwork!
