Features and Skills
- Introduce your child to this Monkey Balancing Board toy by placing it next to a solid surface where your child can place their hands at waist level for stability.
- Have your child get the feel of the board by holding on for support.
- As far as toddler toys go, you can slowly encourage your child to let go and use their muscles for balance by setting 5 second, 10 second, etc. goals and timing them. Make a big deal each time he/she achieve these goals.
- When he/she is able to maintain his/her balance for prolonged periods of time, throw a ball to him/her to catch and toss back to you. Throw it to the right, left above and below to challenge balance skills
- When he/she gets really great at balancing, have him/her attempt it while standing on one leg! Be sure to supervise.
