  • Ready Set Cut is a phenomenal toy that will help with skills your child will need when they are in school.
  • First show them how to hold the scissors. They may not know that the little hole goes around the thumb and the large hole goes around the pointer and middle finger.  Have them practice holding the scissors and opening and closing them.
  • Have them start simple with straight lines, then do boxes and anything that has straight lines in it.
  • Lets move onto something more complicated like circles and squiggles.
  • After they have mastered those skills now have them cut out the different shapes and crafts that come in this craft kit.
  • Now they are ready for writing and other skills they will need in kindergarten.
