Your child sees cars everywhere and probably rides in one nearly every day. Though it's a bit early for him to be asking you for the keys, having his own car lets him be a part of the action.
Your little mechanic can take apart the pieces of this car. He can look inside the cool plastic see-through roof to the people inside. Then he can reassemble the vehicle in different ways.
Your child can even design a new vehicle by adding pieces from other cars in the series. And, because the pieces are removable, he can play act different scenarios like dropping the kids off at school or adding groceries in the back.
Maybe he'll turn from mechanic to city planner as he builds highways across your living room-- perfect for a race against his friends.
Take the opportunity to use the car to tech your little one about safety. Everyone in his car should always buckle up. If pedestrians are passing by they should look both ways before crossing the street. And, of course, his car should always come to a full stop at a stop sign.
