Description

Great set for young mechanics! Using one of the 4 power screwdrivers (AA Battery required) the vehicle can each be unscrewed into 3 or 4 sections and the wheels removed. Providing plenty of interest and fun in assembling and dis assembling them the vehicle is an excellent toy for role play and will provide hours of creative play. The vehicle and power tool are manufactured in tough ABS plastic and are built to last.

The Take Apart Plane will teach any little pilot how to take things apart and put them back together. Great for fine motor skills and building the small muscles in their hands (not to mention it′s FUN)!

Also, the playing is only half the fun. We love the building-portion of this toy; the child really gets to understand how things fit together, how to get the toy to actually work and of course, create a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

Features and Skills

• Visual-spatial skills will be fine tuned as your child builds their own vehicle. 
• Problem-solving and perseverance are necessary skills to complete the task.  Your child will feel pride when they see their creation.  The Take a Part Plane is wonderful to foster self-esteem.
• Expand the play schema by using a cardboard box to create a Plane shop.  Add some toy people and stuffed animals to be helpers in the shop.
• Children enjoy dress-up at this age; they may want to dress as a construction worker, mechanic, fireman, etc.

  Great toy for a mechanical three-year-old!
  My son received this plane from his grandparents for his 3rd birthday. He loves it! His 4-year-old sister and even his 10-year-old brother like to take it apart and put it back together, too. The plastic feels heavy and durable. The drill has a forward and backward drill setting and a safety setting in the middle and behaves like a real drill, for when the bolt is screwed in all the way it stops drilling and starts clicking. We found that if the batteries run out, the Fisher Price screwdrivers work perfectly. I only wish that the set came with an extra screw in case one is lost. Overall a great toy.

  Kiddos love the take apart plane
  I bought the take apart plane for my 4 1/2 and 3 year old daughters. They love it! My 4 1/2 year old daughter enjoys assembling the plane and then taking it apart again and again. My 3 year old enjoys taking a few screws and pieces out at a time and then putting them back together. This is a very durable toy and they love having their own battery-operated tool just like Daddy has.
