Description

The Under Lock & Key Garage is one of the best toys for 1 year olds out there because it is a brightly-colored classic toy, perfect for teaching cause and effect. The garage is a great take-along toy and the three cars can be played with separately or with other toys.
Features and Skills
- This UNDER LOCK AND KEY GARAGE comes with three cars in primary colors. Each car goes in a garage of the same color with a key on top to lock each door. At first your child will try to match the keys to the garage by trial and error. After a little practice, he/she will learn how to work the keys by matching the correct colors, great for a child's development.
- Your little one will enjoy driving the cars along the floor, just like Mommy and Daddy. Ask him/her where he/she is driving and he/she will name familiar spots around town, like the store, the train station, or the school.
- Set up a fun obstacle course for your infant to drive through using blocks. You can make bridges, bridges, tunnels, and highways. As they drive around teach them words that show location, such as on, under, over, and next to.
- As your baby gets older you can use the cars from this garage to teach the safety rules. Make traffic signs and review that a red sign with eight sides means stop. Make sure as they play that your child always buckles up. And you can even add people from other toy sets to teach pedestrian safety. Be sure to look both ways before crossing!
