Features and Skills
- At first your child may need help putting the ABC Floor Puzzle together. This is a great time to help solidify their recognition of the letters of the alphabet
- As your child’s ability to hold a crayon/pencil improves, they will begin to write letters. Use the letters on the puzzle as a model for them to copy the letters in their name, spell mom and dad, and other words that they are motivated by.
- As your child learns letter-sound association, take turns trying to think of a word that begins with each alphabet letter (A is for alligator, apple, Andrew)
