• These markers have a wider grip making them easier for little hands to manage as they refine their fine motor skills
• The round ends make it easier to stay inside the lines
• Prior to coloring, ask your child to name all the animals in the coloring book and ask him to make the sound the animal makes
• Then, ask him what color he’d like to color the different animals and have him pick out the appropriate marker
• Teach your child how to spell each animal by writing it for them and ask them to copy your letters, verbally stating each letter as they write.  Pretty soon they’ll be writing on their own!
