  • Start very simple with the baffle blocks.  Take this opportunity to reinforce colors and shapes with your preschooler.  Have them separate the colors into groups. All the blue blocks here etc.  Then you can have them count up all the blue blocks etc.  It never hurts to go over the basics.
  • Next, go over some of the shapes of the blocks.  This one looks like what letter in the alphabet?  Which one looks like an elbow?  This is a fun way to get him/her to look outside the box when it comes to shapes.
  • Take turns to solve some of the puzzles on the poster included.  Let your child go first and don’t help them at first.  See what they can do by themselves then help them out. They might get frustrated but that’s OK.
  • You can make this a family night and have everyone try and solve the baffle blocks.  Make it into a game.  Have one person create their own puzzle and see if everyone else can solve it.
  • Baffle Blox are great for traveling as well.  They store in a great pouch so they can be brought on a plane or train to continue the fun anywhere.
