Our physical therapist, Deanie, loves the Rody because it′s great at strengthening the core (stomach), helping with balance and getting kids to be more aware of their surroundings as they bounce around.

Overall, we tested lots of bouncing toys & rocking horses and Rody is the best...because it′s an attractive, well-made blow-up horse that is totally unique and great for a child′s physical development.

Use it with the base, and it′s a new spin on the rocking horse! Without the base it is a super fun bouncing toy great for balancing and outdoor play. Parents love Rody too because hey, he′s not too bad to look at when not in use!

EXPERT ADVICE: For LESS bounce, inflate the Rody LESS if you are buying for a younger child.

Features and Skills

• Rody is the modern interpretation of the classic rocking horse. Its soft rubber body makes him a more comfortable ride than the horses of old.
• You can also remove the base so that your little one can bounce on Rody. At first he/she will bounce in place, but soon your child will be able to hop forward across the room. What better way of getting around than your very own horse?
• As far as toddler toys go, this horse can be used either outdoors or indoors. It’s great for the development of large motor skills like the leg and back muscles.
• As your child grows older, he/she won’t tire of Rody. Your little one can have races with friends and create obstacle courses to maneuver Rody through.

  Great one-year birthday present
  Can't speak yet for durability, and I guess educational value is largely if not entirely kinetic/gross motor, but anyway, according to initial reports my one-year-old twin nephews love these. Even without the "Rody Base" rocker attachment. Bouncy, bouncy. And I was delighted with ebeanstalk's pro-active customer service. A pleasant company to deal with.

  Rody Horse
  This is a cute toy. It is really durable and well worth the money because it can be used for many years. It is actually quite fun and everyone seems to always want to ride on this rody horse at my house. What I like about it is that my child loves to bounce around the house on this rody horse and it really uses up a lot of energy and is great exercise!

  Great indoor fun
  My daughter is about to turn two and has tons of energy. The Rody helps her expend some of that energy in our apartment, which is great now that the weather outside is so cold and the days are shorter. It seems durable, looks cute and she loves it!
