Our physical therapist, Deanie, loves the Rody because it's great at strengthening the core (stomach), helping with balance and getting kids to be more aware of their surroundings as they bounce around.

Overall, we tested lots of bouncing toys and rocking horses and Rody is the best...because it's an attractive, well-made blow-up horse that is totally unique and great for a child's physical development.

Use it with the base, and it's a new spin on the rocking horse! Without the base it is a super fun bouncing toy great for balancing and outdoor play. Parents love Rody too because hey, he's not too bad to look at when not in use!

EXPERT ADVICE: For LESS bounce, inflate the Rody LESS if you are buying for a younger child.

For a younger child get the base to make rody into a rocking horse.

    I absolutely loved the Rody horse for my 1 year old daughter. It was really great because she could bounce on it and it helped her practice standing. At first I was a little nervous because I was scared she might not be able to sit on the horse all by herself. However, the Rody horse is perfect for her because it is not too big or small and it was a great way to teach her independence. Also, it kept her attention for a long time which was a plus, so I could get some cleaning done around the house!
