Souri The Doll will quickly gain a place in the heart of your toddler and preschool-aged child.
Her cheerful, embroidered face, dark brown hair and slightly weighted body make her fun to cuddle, hold and carry about. We love her removable clothing, which is exchangeable with the other Haba Dolls. Souri also comes with an orange bead necklace, which children can share with their doll as a bracelet.
Souri makes a wonderful first doll or gift for a child's first, second and third birthday.
Care: Remove clothing from doll and put it in a pillowcase. Machine wash the doll and clothing (in pillowcase) in cold water, delicate/gentle cycle. Leave to air dry.

Pretend play is so important to your little one's growing creativity and imagination. Your child will enjoy pretending that Souri is their baby. She/he will mimic your nurturing actions with her own child, like feeding him, changing and bathing her. This also creates a sense of bonding as she gains an appreciation for the things you do for him/her.

Take some time to sit with your child as she/he play acts with Souri. It's a great time to improve vocabulary. Help your child recognize parts of his/her body or practice action words, like clap hands or rub eyes.
When children are first learning how to express their emotions, it's easier for them to talk about themselves in the third person, rather than in the first person. So you can use Souri to help your child begin to understand her/his emotions by talking about how Souri may be feeling. For example, "Souri feels angry today because it's raining outside and she can't go for a walk."
