Description

A storybook and set of six expressive wooden eggs offer role-playing activity to help children identify their feelings. Humpty′s cousins are invited to a party but they need a plan to get over the castle wall. By sharing their feelings and working together, they find a happy solution. Children read the storybook and role play with the six funny egg-shaped friends. They can help find a way to solve Humpty’s cousins’ problem and use the unique egg stands to build towers and tell stories.

Features and Skills

• Eggrespressions is a fantastic emotional game to play by yourself or with friends.
• First, talk about all the expressions on the eggs.  Which one is happy, which one is sad? By identifying the expressions on the eggs your toddler can relate to the expressions they have.
• Ask them to mimic what expressions are on the eggs.  This egg is shy – can you make a shy face? 
• You can bring the book into the game now.  Read the book to him/her and when you get to “angry” or “excited” have them pick out the egg that describes that emotion.
• This book & game are based on the nursery rhyme Humpy Dumpty.  Read to them the traditional humpty dumpty nursery rhyme as well.  The one included has a new modern twist to it.
