Why we love it
We tested lots of puzzles and The ABC Train Puzzle is one of our favorites! It′s a self-correcting puzzle that teaches the alphabet in both upper and lower case letters. Each piece has vibrant colors and a recognizable picture that corresponds with a letter of the alphabet. Learning AND fun, who knew?
Features and Skills
- First, your child can work on putting together the train in ABC Train Puzzle. Assist your child in finding the next puzzle piece and putting them together front to back.
- Your child can practice calling out the familiar picture on each train car.
- Then you can ask your child which picture is in front and which is behind.
- Soon your child will be building the complete train on his/her own, which increases his/her sense of accomplishment.
- Your child's memory is incredible at this age. Review the letters with him/her a few at a time and he/she will be repeating them back to you faster than you can imagine.
- After completing the toddler toy puzzle a few times, your child will be able to associate the picture with a letter. For example, A is for Apple.
- Sound out the words with your little one using the objects in the train cars. He/she will begin to associate sounds with each letter of the alphabet.
- Reinforce what you are learning visually with a little music. Ask your child to sing the ABC's with you as you both point to the letters on the train.
