  • Puzzles help to develop your childs hand-eye coordination. At first, simplify Build a town Puzzle for your child by giving him/her only three to five pieces at a time.
  • Your child may feel overwhelmed when he/she sees the array of pieces scattered on the floor. Describe the next piece in detail so your child follows directions to find it. This teaches your child "descriptors", like adjectives and prepositions. And how to locate things on his/her own such as "the policeman is next to the dog. Can you find him?"
  • Soon your child can identify what piece is missing and find it on his/her own. Your little one will be improving his/her powers of observation by leaps and bounds as he/she matches the fireman with the fire truck, for example.
