Why Our Experts Love It

" Cars, houses, everything you need to make your own town.

Just like the 20-word-picture puzzle, as soon as we put this on the site, it became a top seller.

We love the attention to detail and the creativity it sparks in little ones.

We love the bright colors and beautiful graphics. This puzzle will help develop problem solving skills and hand eye coordination. Did we mention that it has thick chunky pieces! Great for those little hands to grasp onto.

Really, what more can you ask for in a puzzle?"
  • Puzzles help to develop your childs hand-eye coordination. At first, simplify Build a town Puzzle for your child by giving him/her only three to five pieces at a time.
  • Your child may feel overwhelmed when he/she sees the array of pieces scattered on the floor. Describe the next piece in detail so your child follows directions to find it. This teaches your child "descriptors", like adjectives and prepositions. And how to locate things on his/her own such as "the policeman is next to the dog. Can you find him?"
  • Soon your child can identify what piece is missing and find it on his/her own. Your little one will be improving his/her powers of observation by leaps and bounds as he/she matches the fireman with the fire truck, for example.
  • Have your child describe the picture on the puzzle piece in his/her own words.
  • As your baby grows, place the activity center on the sofa so he/she can practice pulling himself/herself up to standing position.  Slide it a few feet down the sofa and encourage your child to cruise back and forth
  • Children can work together to assemble the puzzle, each child pretending to be a different character in the story.
  • This product meets or exceeds all safety standards
  • Choking Hazard 3 - Small parts not for children under 3 years
