Why our Child-Experts Love It

We love hand-eye coordination games. This is a uniquely challenging game that teaches your child how to throw objects and hit a precise target. It also shows how objects react when hitting an obstruction at different angles. The game fosters counting and addition when keeping score. Your child will love playing it with a group of friends. Just don′t be too bummed when the kids win!

Features and Skills

  • This Leaping Frogs toddler game develops your child's hand-eye coordination. You may want to begin by having him/her throw the bean bags at the lily pads without the trampoline. Explain to him/her that the lily pads all have numbers on them and that the higher the number, the more points he/she gets.
  • Introduce the trampoline and have your child practice tossing the bean bags so he/she can see how the bags react to hitting the trampoline. Add up the points she earns.
  • As your child becomes more confident with his/her aim, increase the distance between lily pads and trampoline or the distance between your child and the trampoline. Ask him/her what he/she needs to do differently to have the frogs reach the lily pads.
  • Have him/her try his/her luck while balancing on one leg.
  • Practice counting by having your little one aim for specific numbers in order from one to six.
  • She's sure to master simple math skills quickly as she throws two frogs and adds the numbers they land on.
  • Have your child take turns with a friend and see whose frog lands on the highest number. This promotes taking turns and reinforces number order.
