Why we love it
The Super Spiral Play Tower is our favorite one year old toy...and I suppose yours too since it′s our # 1 seller! It′s a SUPER toy that the children of ours moms from the Mother Board played with for hours. It′s a fantastic way for children to learn cause and effect through the tower′s use of sounds and motion. Did we mention it′s FUN too? With all of the different toys for 1 year olds out there, it′s hard to choose a great one & this is the best!
Features and Skills
- Introduce your little one to the characters in Super Spiral Play Tower. There's a penguin and a frog. Demonstrate how to put the penguin down the spiral slide and watch your child copy your actions. Let him/her anticipate what will happen as the penguin hovers near the top of the slide. Ready, set, go! This is a great baby toy.
- Show your child how the frog slides down the center tube and watch as he/she tries it for himself/herself with this learning toy. To expand your child's ability to form sentences, pair the name of the animal with the sound they make or other descriptors. For example, the green frog or Ribbit frog.
- When the frog disappears down the tube you can teach your little one object permanence by pressing the yellow button to let the frog out. This shows him/her that although they lost sight of the frog, it was still there. Practice using words to describe what is going on in the game, like in, out and fall down.
- Show your child how to take the two balls and put them down the slide and the circular tube. You can develop your child's pre-math skills by counting the balls, and showing them one at a time before putting down the slide.
- Introduce your little one to the concept of taking turns. Have your child hand you the frog, the penguin or the balls so that you can try putting them down the slide. Use language like my turn and your turn.
