  • The biggest challenge your child faces with a ride on toy is getting on or off the first time.  First have your child march in place.  Then show your child how to stand on one leg and entice him/her to do it.  Once they are ready, place both of your little ones arms on each handle and hold the bike steady for him/her as he/she swings his leg over.  As your child gets better, encourage them to do it from both sides
  • Encourage your child to propel the bike forward with his/her feet.  Once he/she seems to get the hang of it, you can encourage him/her to try lifting his feet in the air and balance while moving on the bicycle
  • Challenge your child to balance for longer periods of time by counting the seconds that his/her feet are in the air.  Once their balance improves he/she will be counting higher and higher!
  • To challenge your kid further, you can build obstacle courses for him/her to maneuver around to fine tune their steering skills.
