At first, get down on the floor and push the vehicle back and forth with your child.

Show your little one how to work the remote control. He/she may be amazed that something can move without being pushed by hand. You can explain that the signal is being sent from the remote control to move the car, like when you change the channel on the television.

Set up an obstacle course for your child to maneuver the vehicle around.

Ask your child about the vehicle. What color is it? You can teach him/her about what a race car does or how fast it goes, does it drive on the street or on a track?
