• Learn new vocabulary; label the shapes as your toddler bangs each one.  As they learn the labels, have them follow simple directions (i.e. can you bang the star).  Then teach colors. 
• Help expand your toddlers spoken language by modeling two word phrases for actions and objects during play (i.e. more bang, yellow star, take out, etc.)
