Features and Skills

• At first your baby will bat at the different arms of the toy with his/her fist. Eventually, your child will grab it with a full fist.
• As far as learning toys go, the Whoozit Icicle toy is great to help develop your little one's eyesight because it uses both black and white patterns, which your baby can see first, and vibrant colors, which babies can see later. Developing eye hand coordination when then see the toy and then they grab it will help later with ball skills and other eye-hand coordination tasks.
• Your baby will develop the ability to play with the textured ends of the arms with his/her fingers. This will help your child practice his/her fine motor skills specifically the "pincer grasp" which they will use for picking up small objects.
• Soon your infant will be able to pass Whoozit from one hand to the other and cross their own body which will help with brain development.
• You can use Whoozit to encourage your infant during tummy time. Put the Icicle toy a bit higher than ground level while your baby is on his/her stomach and the child will use his/her eyes to look up to the toy. This will encourage your little one to look up and strengthen head, shoulders and back while he/she is on his/her belly.
• Your child will learn which sounds he/she likes best and will repeat the action of that arm to hear the sound again building his/her auditory system.
