Features and Skills
- Little does your little one know, this adorable bear will help teach them basic skills every child needs.
- As your child grows more and more independent, he/she may insist on dressing himself/herself each day. Basic Skills Board will help him/her practice these new skills that require great attention to detail and fine motor skills.
- Demonstrate for your toddler how a zipper works. In the beginning undoing the zipper will be much easier for your little one than zipping up. Try doing all the zipping up and letting your child do the zipping down, until he/she becomes more adept at the motion.
- Give these new actions names starting with just “up” and “down,” then add “zip up” and “zip down.”
- Again, unbuttoning and undoing the buckles will be easier at first. Concentrate on one or two actions each time with your child. You do the buttoning and buckling, and let your little one undo it.
- Tying Bear’s laced up sleeve will come with practice, but for now let your child untie the sleeve.
