Features and Skills
- Dump these UNIT BLOCKS out onto the floor and let your child explore the different shapes. Your child will notice that some of the blocks are smooth and round, while others have corners; a multifaceted learning toy.
- Sit on the floor with your child and sort the toy blocks out by shape. You can practice naming the shapes aloud. "Let's put all the triangles blocks together."
- Demonstrate how to stack the blocks one on top of the other with a steady base for balance.
- Create a sense of bonding by getting down on the floor with your child and building a tower. Your child will giggle and giggle if you let him/her knock your tower over. Demolition is almost more fun than construction!
