    Great puzzle. It makes sounds when you put the correct piece in the right place. It is a great way to start teaching my kids about different types of vehicles. My son loves vehicles that make sounds like a fire engine. So this was the perfect buy for him. It is very durable as well.

  • This is a great puzzle because it reinforces the visual recognition with an audio cue. Also, it moves beyond vehicles by adding a ship, a helicopter and a motorcycle.
  • Your child will begin by being able to place three to four of the puzzle pieces without help. With practice, he/she will recognize all the vehicles on his/her own.
  • Have your toddler practice their language skills by naming the vehicle, its color and the picture hiding beneath it.<
  • This puzzle is also great at sharpening your childs observation skills because it connects the vehicles to real world examples.
  • Hide the pieces around the room and have your child play hot/cold to find them. When he/she finds a piece have him/her name the vehicle.
  • Ask your child to follow two or three step directions to hide the pieces himself/herself. For example, Put the car under the table and the circle next to the chair. This will improve his/her listening and sequencing skills.
