    Fun learning puzzle! Not only are children able to learn which animal is which, but when they put the correct puzzle piece in the right area it makes the sound of different wild animals. It is a great start in introducing different types of "wild" animals. They are able to see the illustration along with what sounds these animals make.

    Our almost 2yr old granddaughter really likes to put the animals in their places to hear the sounds they make. Hours and hours of fun to mimic their sounds

    Great puzzle for 1-2 year olds.
    My 18-month old grandson loved this. While I appreciated the more unusual animals included, he found their sounds less familiar and harder to imitate. He isn't always able to fit each piece into its place, but the sound effects work if placement is close.

  • This is a great puzzle because it reinforces the visual recognition with an audio cue.
  • Your child will begin by being able to place three to four of the puzzle pieces without help. With practice he/she will recognize all the zoo animals on his/her own.
  • Have your toddler practice their language skills by naming the animals its color and the picture hiding beneath it.
  • This puzzle is also great at sharpening your childs observation skills because it connects the zoo animals to real world examples.
  • Hide the pieces around the room and have your child play hot/cold to find them. When he/she finds a piece have him/her name the animal.
  • Ask your child to follow two or three step directions to hide the pieces himself/herself. For example Put the elephant under the table and the zebra next to the chair. This will improve his/her listening and sequencing skills.
