Why we love it

Counting Creatures is great for a 3 year old because the individual puzzle pieces are so thick-they actually feel good (not flimsy) to hold. Plus the illustrations on the puzzle are beautiful! As toddler toys go, this is a great puzzle to learn counting skills and identify animals.

Product Features

One way we love to put puzzles together at ebeanstalk is to separate all the puzzle pieces into 3 piles-the 4 corner pieces, the border pieces (with the flat edges) and the inside pieces. Teach your child to follow the picture on the box of Counting Creatures Floor Puzzle and create the outside frame first (using the border pieces and corners) and then fill in the middle pieces of the puzzle.
Work on counting skills and animal identification. Play a game with your child and randomly point to an animal or number and have them name what you have pointed to. They can also switch roles and do the same for you!
