The Pirate Ship is one of the most fantastic toys for four year olds out there because it′s an attractive, well-made toy that will provide hours of fun for your child as he/she pretends he/she is the captain of his/her own pirate ship. Additional pieces of this set can be purchased to make an even more intricate pirate play set. "Time to walk the plank!" It′s hard to find good gifts for 4 year olds, but this toy is one of the greatest!
Features and Skills
- Welcome your child to swashbuckling adventures on the high seas with this great learning toy. Look below deck and pull out the pieces. Name each thing for your child as they expand their vocabulary to include a whole new world.
- Using construction paper or pictures cut from magazines, your child can create a backdrop for the Pirate Ship. Draw an island, make palm trees, or stay on the lookout for other ships on the horizon. Have your little one dock the ship and use the figures to look for buried treasure on the island.
- Your child may want to dress up like a pirate and go on his/her own adventure with friends. You make a treasure hunt for them around the house. For example, hide a page of stickers under the couch and draw a map leading to it. Then send them on a little adventure of their own!
