Features and Skills

• This portable scooter is a great balancing toy for your child. Because it has 3 wheels, it has a wider base of support which will challenge but not frustrate your child
• First, show your child how to hold the handle bars and balance with only one standing leg. Try it alternating the standing legs to get an idea of which one provides more stability
• Next, show your child how to use the other leg to propel himself forward
• As he gets better, have him scoot from point A to point B and count out loud how many seconds it takes to get there
• Once he has steering down, set up an obstacle course for him to navigate
• Don’t forget a helmet!!
