Features and Skills

• Fishing in the three-dimensional fish tank increases your child's hand-eye coordination. At first you may want to let your child peek at the fish in the tank as he/she tries to catch them.
• Eventually, he/she will advance to the no-peeking rule, since each fish you catch has a different point total associated with it.
• Take turns with a friend catching items using the pole. Taking turns is such an important skill for children to learn as they begin to head off to school and interact with more of their peers.
• Make additional items to catch by having your child cut out their favorite pictures from magazines, laminate them or coat them with a layer of tape for stability, then add a paperclip to attract the magnet.
• Practice simple math skills with your child by adding up totals of the fish he and his friends caught with Fishin Fun.
