Description

The Snails Pace Race Board Game is fun and colorful. Each player chooses the color snails he/she thinks will come in first and last. Rolls the wooden die and move the snails that match the colors rolled. When all of the snails have reached the end, the players who chose the right color snails all win.

This is the easiest first board game we could find! It is a non-competitive game that improves color recognition & social interaction. The snail pieces are made of wood and are incredibly durable. This game requires no reading or number recognition! It just guarantees fun.

Features and Skills

• This Snails Pace Race game requires your interaction with your child. Interpret the directions of this toddler toy for your little one. Ask him/her to paraphrase the directions back to you to make sure he/she understands.
• Your toddler rolls the die and moves the snail that matches the color he/she rolled. This reinforces your child's counting skills and color recognition. If he/she rolls two of the same color, he/she moves that snail twice.
• After your child learns the game, he/she can teach friends how to play. This improves your child's confidence, leadership abilities and social interaction.
• The children practice taking turns rolling the die, but each player can move any of the snails. So, in effect, no one wins or loses.
• Snails aren't very good at addition, so your child can help them. Show him/her how to count out the squares. 3 squares and 1 more is 4.
