Description
The four inch O Ball Jelly is full of finger holes to make it incredibly easy to catch, captivating to hold, and safe to throw. The O Ball Jelly is shiny, smooth, flexible, durable, virtually indestructible, and dishwasher safe.
Why our Child-Experts Love It
O Balls are the easiest and softest balls for your little one to play with! They make holding, catching & throwing super simple for your child, with O Balls finger holes! Next thing you know your little one will be the next big league pitcher! They are so light they simply can′t cause damage no matter how hard it′s thrown...making it one of parent′s favorite toys too! HINT: Get a few of them. They are great for the office (yes, for the parents) and as an add-on to any birthday gift.
Features and Skills
- It’s not easy to find the perfect ball for a baby to play with. The big ones are too big for little hands to hold on to and the little ones end up in their mouths. That’s what makes the structure of the O ball ideal. It’s big and colorful, but the holes in it make it easy for little fingers to grasp. And O ball is very soft for those missed catches.
- At this age it’s much harder to catch a ball from the air than to throw it. You can play a starter game of “catch” with your little one by having him/her throw you the ball from a short distance, then you can roll it back for another throw.
- Throwing underhand uses a different set of muscles than overhand. You can encourage your child to throw it both ways. You may find that your child is more comfortable throwing one way or the other.
- O balls are great for kicking, too. They are hard enough to move quickly, but soft enough not to cause much damage.
- As your child grows stronger and more coordinated, try challenging his/her accuracy by setting up targets, such as goals to kick through and baskets to shoot into. This will help to develop his/her hand-eye coordination.
