Fossilize, dig up, and reconstruct a dinosaur skeleton replica.
-Learn how fossils form, how paleontologists excavate them, and how dinosaur bones are pieced together to form complete skeletons.
-Model the process of fossilization by burying your dinosaur
"Maybe you've see your child digging in the dirt in the backyard. Maybe they are just making mud pies. But maybe they are digging for dinosaur bones! Maybe they have the same dream we have, of being like Sue Hendrickson in 1990 and accidentally finding the most complete T-Rex skeleton ever while walking past a cliff. This is the play set for them! They can learn the careful methods of palentologists as they brush and excavate the bones, then put them back together in a museum for us to see. Science toys are always great at teaching kids how to follow directions, set up experiments with different scenarios and observe what happens. Learning while you play? Now that's mammoth!"
