Features and Skills

• This puzzle is great for learning to identify animals, singing different songs about animals, and teaching your child which animals live in the jungle/which animals belong on the farm/water etc.
• Have your child name all the animals that live in the jungle. Take it a step further by asking how these animals find food to eat, what do they eat?
• Ask your child what part of the world do these animals live in—where these jungles or animals are-Africa, Amazon, etc.
• Make up your own songs with animal sounds.
• Ask your child which animal they would like to be if they were an animal for a day, and why.
• Which animal are you really scared of or don’t like because it reminds you of….?
• Don’t forget to sing the abc songs; animals that go with the particular letter—even if they are not jungle animals.  Make up a song for example Old McDonald went on a safari on the safari he saw…e-i-e-i-o….
