- The Clifford category matcher is a fun and easy way to teach your child about categories and what goes in those categories. It is the kind of thing that a lot of adults take for granted.
- You can first just go over some of the pictures on matcher i.e. have them find the earmuffs, or the items they might use when it’s snowing out. Doing this first might make it easier when they go to match the categories.
- Now you can start with the items on matcher itself. Go to the ‘food’ category and see how many items your child can match with food…apple, hotdog etc.
- You can even make this more challenging by not using Clifford and by using items around the house or outside.
