Why our Child-Experts Love It
We love 2-for-1′s.
So check it out . . . this is a bingo game and a charades game. It helps kids develop his/her attention to detail and speech.
This game uses colors, shapes and animals instead of numbers and letters. And it′s Eric Carle - and we love his art.
Features and Skills
- This Animals Color Game is an exciting, active version of an old favorite game—Bingo!
- Begin by looking through all of the animal pieces with your little one and describing them to work on descriptive language. For example, “The rooster has a red crown on his head.”
- Before beginning the game you can count how many spaces there are in a row with your child and explain that the object is to fill up one row in any direction before the other person.
- Count all the game pieces together. You can use these pieces to teach early addition skills.
- Get creative by acting out the different animals. Maybe even play charades and have the other players try and guess which animal you are acting out. Make up a new rule, when the bingo caller picks out an animal, instead of saying its name he/she will just make the sound. The players have to guess which animal they are calling.
