  • Kids on Stage Charades is a great learning toy for children to use their imagination. The actor needs to think of ways to communicate his/her card without using words. And the guesser needs to dig through his/her imagination to come up with possible things it may be.
  • To make the guessing a bit easier, you may want to divide up the cards by color category. Then as the child acts out the cards, the guessers know it will only be an animal, for example.
  • If you follow the directions on the game, there are no winners and losers. So your child will simply learn to have fun, challenge his/her imagination and one other important skill, how to play a game from start to finish.
  • As your child grows, he/she will be more comfortable with the competitive nature of game playing. You can help the children by monitoring the game. Help them choose teams, use a timer and understand that if they don't guess the card on time they have to stay on that square for another turn.
