  • Musical building blocks are a great way to introduce music to your children. We always say, Music is the gateway to learning.
  • Have your child stack the blocks any way they please. Go over the colors on the blocks and have them count how many blocks they have lined up.
  • Count each block together and take the mallets and ping them on the blocks. Show them that every time you hit a block it makes a sound.
  • Start off with just hitting each block and see which blocks make which sound. Have your child become comfortable with the mallet and the blocks.
  • Have them try to create their own musical notes. Try it first and show them how it is done.
