Begin by showing him/her where two people he/she is familiar with live. Then show your child all the other countries and explain to him/her that there are many, many people living there too.
• Talk to your child about the different cultures, races and ethnicities of the people who live in these countries. Explain to him/her that each person looks a little different and that these differences make us who we are.
