Why we love it
We just love the Roll Along Mirror because it is a crawling toy & mirror in one! The mirror rolls on the ground, encouraging your infant to chase it and start to crawl! Mirrors for infants are very important for self recognition...look there I am! It makes a wonderful baby gift as well.
Features and Skills
- This toy is great for the first year of your baby’s life. You can introduce your child to his own face by placing him on his stomach in front of the Roll Along Mirror which will keep him entertained while he strengthens his neck, trunk and shoulder girdle during tummy time
Gradually he will start to prop up on elbows – encourage him to reach out with one hand at a time and shift his weight from elbow to elbow
- Pretty soon your child will be sitting. Place the toy slightly out of reach to encourage the child to transition from a sitting position onto his stomach or maybe even on all fours.
- Once your child is able to maintain a quadruped position (on all fours), once again place the toy out of reach and encourage your child to crawl towards it.
- Pretty soon your child will be rolling it on the floor and racing to catch up to it.
