Children begin by doing puzzles at an early age. Once they've mastered that, though, they may become bored with puzzles altogether. This puzzle presents a whole new challenge. It takes a different set of skills to see things and be able to put things together in three dimensions.
Due to the complexity of this set early on you may have to be very involved in helping set up Quadrilla Twist Set for your child.
Because the puzzle has to stand up, it also uses some of the same skills that are used when stacking blocks. Which pieces will you put together first so that the structure will be balanced?
Your child will learn how to make the structure stand through trial and error. If it falls, just try and try again.
Quadrilla can be built however your child likes, a different way each time. And each time he/she builds it, he/she will learn to keep in mind the way the marble will move through the maze, anticipating its movement.
Then release the marble and watch it go. Notice where it picks up speed or slows down. Explain to your child that gravity is what pulls the ball down through the maze and around the corners.
For an extra challenge, time the marble's runs. Or have your child hop until the marbles reach the bottom
