The biggest challenge your child faces with a ride on toy is getting on or off the first time. First have your child march in place. Then show him how to stand on one leg and entice him to do it. Once he’s ready, place both his arms on each handle and hold the bike steady for him as he swings his leg over. As he gets better, encourage him to do it from both sides.
