• Have the kids put the puzzle together randomly as the pieces are interchangeable, then go over: does this animal belong here-why/why not.
• Flip the puzzle pieces to the cardboard side 2 at a time-animal and its place; then have your children put the ones that belong  together-why/why not.
• Have your children label the fine details of each animal—body parts, how many legs, does it have a tail, can this animal be another color, what does it like to eat.  What’s your favorite animal in this puzzle why/why not?
